We are going to be taking delivery of a new C28 in June. It will be used in freshwater. I realize that I need magnesium anodes. What anodes (Mfr. & part #s) are on the new C28's? I have heard various information on Tugnuts depending on model year, engine, etc. I will eventually (3+ years) take it into salt water so I'd like recommendations on any additional zincs that I may need.

I used Aluminum anodes while on Lake Michigan with very good results (3 years). I am still using Aluminum as we sit in Marathon Key Fl.. I will post results when I change the anodes.

We keep our boat moored on Lake Washington and also have been using aluminum anodes for about 3 years. We usually cruise in salt water for several months each year although this past year it has been significantly less due to Covid. I am very happy with their performance. Got them from boatzincs.com.

Brian,
We love Marathon as well! Curious if you are in a marina or renting a canal home...
Thanks for any info on the anodes btw.
