Here are four new mods made on our tug, a teak table in the cockpit and a pop can holder for the helm. Also, I installed a new post to reinforce the swim platform rail to to prevent the movement when the Outboard is mounted to the rail when we are on the move. I also made a cover for the table by using some old pieces of sunbrella from our previous bimini top

Nice mods.... they look well thought out.... The table top design looks smashing... Well done. 🙂

BTW & FYI .... For my previous R-21EC I stowed the cockpit table under the engine box's cushion which worked quite well as finding other places for stowing it were awkward at best and it took too much space in the transom provided locker as it had to be angled to fit and having it in the V-berth was bothersome to me.

Hello Barry, I really like the Idea about storing the table under the cushion, I will have to try it to see if it fit... Thank you!

Pat: My table was the RT stock table. I left it in its canvas bag and placed on top of the engine box and then laid the cushion on top of it. Then I clipped one side of the cushion to side of box and then sat on the cushion at the lip of the other side to compress the cushion to make it easier to clip it down on the other side. The cushion humped slightly but did not affect the sitting comfort. Just be aware if you're in rough seas with a lot of bow & stern velocities there's a slight tendency for the captured table under the engine box cushion sliding out a tad. It never completely slid out but I just wanted to alert you to the possibility as one trip I found it had slipped out an inch or two.
