Well It’s final. Today a picked up a new to me 2014 Cutwater 28. After a long process making it happen, we closed today and I brought the boat down from Anacortes to Seattle. Great day for the maiden voyage, sunny and mostly calm. It got a bit bigger around sunset with following seas, so I had the chance to learn more about how the boat handles and I’m very happy. I didn’t leave Anacortes until 2:45 so it was dark pulling into Shilshole marina. Not knowing where all the different switches were as it got dark, gives me even more excuses to spend time learning over the coming months.
I have been reading all kinds of posts and information from this great site as I was researching and making the purchase and you all really are an amazing community. I’m sure I’ll have plenty of questions and need advice from the knowledgeable group here. Looking forward to making new friends and seeing you out on the water!
