As we returned to the Swantown boat launch in Olympia Sunday on afternoon after a wonderful three day trip to McMicken Island State Park in South Sound, a Cutwater 28 was on its trailer in the launch area. We met the proud new owners, Dorman and Sue, from Vancouver, Washington. They were heading out for their maiden cruise, their first time heading out together after their introductory sessions (which we were told were in very stormy conditions). We got some photos of their launch (emailed to them, they also can be found along with our recent cruise descriptions on our boating blog site, www.bioaquatics.com/hokukai). We wish them many pleasurable days on the water with their beautiful new Cutwater! Hope to see them at the Rendezvous and possibly on the Desolation Sound cruise.
