New Dingy Questions

Hi Guys,

I bought one of the inflatables West Marine had on sale for black Friday. It's a 260 CM size, should be right for my Cutwater 28.

After getting it registered in New Jersey, which was an adventure in itself, I am wondering how to display registrations numbers.

Surfing the net, seems like vinyl letters don't work. PVC paint might work but you still have to get the state registration sticker on somehow.

Any advice on the best way to do this?

I would get a number board and use that -

I ended up ordering and installing a PVC plate with the numbers printed on it. There is also a spot to apply the state sticker.

I used a paint pen and stencil. I have to touch it up every year or so.

Thanks for the replies. I ordered the boat number plate. We'll see how that works. Since I may roll it up from time to time I ordered the kind you have to glue to the dingy. Doesn't seem hard to do though. Thanks again.
