New Features or Euro Specs?

I was checking out youtube videos of Ranger Tugs and there was a video of a R29 posted by the Norwegian dealer. I noticed two features that I would prefer as a prospective R29 buyer:

1. The teak doors in the cockpit were replaced with most likely plastic or "Starboard" doors.

2. There was a plexiglas structure to enclose the shower area in the head.

I was wondering if these are new features, some sort of Euro spec, and/or if they can be retrofitted to a current US model boat.

Don't know about the replacement of teak with a man-made material but the plexi enclosure for the shower is standard on the newer boats. The plexi panels are hung on the bulkheads until needed. When you shower you remove the panels and hang them between the shower and the vanity/head to keep things dry. Not as good as a fully enclosed shower but good enough.
