New folding dinette table

Has anyone purchased and installed the newly offered folding dinette table? We have a 2012 R 25SC. The table seems like it would really open the boat up.

We did not purchase a folding table but we had a smaller teak table made by a local carpenter and it has really opened up the space and made our boat more useable. There are pictures in banjos album.

I believe Bob & Nita on "Nellie Too" have for their R-29.

I enquired about this for our R-25 with Ranger Tugs… it was very spendy and have not pursued it as of yet. 😉 if I add a few more $$$s to it I might as well purchase the new R-27. :lol:

The new design would need to be dimensionally equivalent to the stock dinette table so it can continue to be used for the berth position… if that was of importance.

I have seen the new table on a R27 and was very impressed with its functionality. We (MyWife) made our new dinette table. She made it for the two of us and it opened the cabin up. No overnight crashers now....

Can you provide details for your new dinette table… ? I'm in the market for doing a similar modification and I'm looking for ideas that others have come up with… thanks. 🙂
