Does anyone have pictures of the new 2015 Ranger Tug mast and how it folds? Long story short: We just got done raising the roof on the boat garage and putting in a 12 foot high door door because the height on the trailer was 11' 8". We ordered a R25SC and now discover for 2015 there is a new mast that results in a height on trailer of 11' 11". That is getting close with the 1/2" it takes for the door jamb and weather stripping.

Hey S. Todd, great to see someone else from Indiana. I don't own a Ranger but can dream. Where will you be boating with the tug?

It's actually wicked easy to remove the folding mast entirely and lay the whole thing on a blanket between the top hatch and front windows . Problem solved ??

Using a drop drawbar and letting air out of the tires are my two options if I end being a little short. I just really do not want to have to do that. I could have added another 3 inches when I did the remodel for less than $50 if i had known they were going to change the design. My old boat and the 10 foot door worked with less than an 1/8th of an inch so I can live with close and my guess is that is were I will be. Thanks for the suggestion about how easy the mast is to remove, that might be easier than my other two options. That first trip in after delivery in May will be the test.

Another option is to shorten the mast a bit. I took a couple of feet out the mast on my R21 so it would fit in my boat house sling lift without removing it. It was not as easy to fold down or remove as the newer boats. A couple of inches on yours may be doable.
