Hi there,

I've been lurking for several months so I feel like I know most of the regulars in the site.

I ordered my R29 back in December and will take delivery next month. Needless to say, I'm pretty psyched. Although, I have to say, I sleep well in spite of the anticipation.

She will be called "Dragon's Breath". My last boat was a sailboat called "Misty". Hopefully you can make the connection.

I hope to make the Bremerton get together and hopefully will connect with some of you in the PNW between the end of July and October. My intention is to spend a lot of time on the boat between those dates.

See you on the water.

Welcome to the Tugnuts fleet. David Baker (Karma) will most likely spot you, but go to this thread and sign up for the rendezvous.

Cheers,

Bruce

Buzz,
I have added "Dragons Breath" to the list of attendees for the Bremerton get together on September 10, 11, and 12.

Congratulations on your purchase. I hope you enjoy Dreagons Breath as much as Maureen and I have enjoyed Karma since taking delivery in November.

See you on the water!

Hi Buzz
Congratulations!!! We will see you in Bremerton! We are taking delivery of our R29 this week. I'm glad that at least YOU can sleep. I sure can't. Like you, we'll be out in the PNW waters till October. Let us know if you're coming up to the San Juans.

I am planning to gunkhole around the San Juans after the boat check-out. Late July to early August. I'll keep in touch withmore precise info when the time comes.

OK, now I'm starting to have trouble sleeping!!!

I just spent a couple of days in Monroe watching my boat go together. What an amazing process.

When I arrived Thursday morning, the hull was pretty much complete (engine, plumbing, wiring, tanks, etc.) and the forward cabin liner was installed. They had just begun assembling the main cabin liner and the deckhouse. By that afternoon they had completed the liner subassembly and installed it on the hull assembly.

This morning they finished assembling the deckhouse and installed it onto the hull

From hundreds of parts scattered all over the assembly area to something that actually looks like a boat in a couple of days.

Next week Howard says they will do a shakedown cruise and then it goes for bottom paint, returns to the plant for final tweaking and clean up. I'm looking at taking delivery of my boat in just two and one half weeks.

Wow!!!

BTW standard equipment now is TWO televisions. The one in the forward cabin and a flip down set like they have in the smaller ones for the salon. I will have more televisions on the boat than I have in my house.

Ain't life grand?

The last few weeks are pretty tough. We brought our Ranger 27 home last Tuesday and are busy outfitting it to take out next week. Your two and half weeks will be gone before you know it, hope to see you and your new ride up in the San Juans later this month.
