I think you are going to be cutting it close on weight. The reason I say this is, even know the factory says the boat weighs 5700lbs, that is with nothing extra loaded on it. Once you have the boat equipped the way you want it (dinghy,personal items and so on) and then fill it up with fuel,water and head waist you are at or over your 7000lbs lift max.
I would personally not want to run my numbers so close. That being said, the lift may be able to handle handle more weight then 7000lbs but they too are erroring on the safe side.
To me it sounds like a gamble I would not take. If anything did happen, the insurance co. would go after the bottom line.... The numbers.... Sorry you were over your weight by 214lbs and so you are not covered. We are so sorry. 🙂
