Hello all,
Does your large Garmin display show any engine parameters at all or is the Volvo display the only source for this information, including fuel level? C-28 Volvo 260 inboard.
Thanks,
Bob

The Garmin should display if the network was set up correctly. However, note that it will only do that if an exact startup sequence is followed: leave Volvo totally off (and locked out). Start Garmin until it boots up all the way. Then unlock and start the Volvo. That took a long time (and help from RT) to figure out.

Thank you. I’ll start with your suggested power-up sequence to see if that makes any difference.

also if its like mine you want the garmin to do the fuel measurement as its measuring fuel flow to calculate remaining fuel and not using an on tank sensor which is much less accurate.

the garmin should do this by default.

I see my 260 volvo data on my garmin. I usually turn on the garmin plotter and autopilot and make sure their are booted before starting the engine if leaving the marina.
