Just placed order for 2017 R-27... Everything except the generator and A/C...The" Blue Heron" will be moored in Newport, OR...looking forward to being an official tugnut...thanks for your forum and all the great information!

Welcome aboard Herky, you've made a great choice with the R27. You state Blue Moon is a 2017, will the boat be completed soon enough for attending the Rendezvous in Roche Harbor in September? If you have not attended a Ranger Tug event this would be a good one, plus you'll get to cruise in the San Juans. Hope to see you there.

Herky- Congrats on the Blue Heron. Newport is my old hometown where I grew up (or failed to grow up, some would say). We have our Tug in Tacoma, and don't have a trailer yet, but I hope to get one next year and then can bring 'er down to the Yaquina for a few months and tuna fish.
Will you be coming to any Rendezvous this year once you get 'er?
