We saw the new R29 at the Fort Lauderdale boat show yesterday. It's a great looking boat, very well built with some Cutwater features that will make it attractive to young families. We thought about moving up to the new R29 from our R27, but there isn't enough difference between the boats for us to justify the cost. We spent a lot of time talking to Tommy from Seagate Marine in Stuart and Jeff from the factory about what customers are doing when they move up. Jeff told us that a lot of 27 owners move into the 31. We spent time looking at a new 31 flybridge and saw what makes the 31 so appealing. It's a beautiful spacious boat that we can still trailer. We'll see what the future holds! In the mean time, we will keep enjoying our R27.
