I have a 2015 r27 which the relay on the stern thruster needs to be replaced ,I have been told in order to do this the boat needs to be pulled out of the water is this the case or is it possible to access the rotor without pulling the boat out?

If it is like the Sidepower single prop installation on the R25, no you don't need to pull the boat out. You can disconnect the motor from the inside. It is designed to pull the motor/solenoid without taking the boat out of the water.

Hello,

The above is correct, you do not need to remove the boat from the water. Turn off battery switches to thrusters, disconnect cables and wiring. Wrestle out and work on the bench. When taking the thruster motor apart, go slow and remember how it all goes back together. Hope this helps!!

Thanks,
