Hello! We are now TUGNUTS!

We swapped our Seaswirl 2007 27' for a Ranger Tug 2016 R27. I am sure this is a really dumb question, but I am willing to stick my neck out because you all seem really nice on the videos etc. Still learning about the inverter etc and have only taken our tug out once in lake CDA. Scratches it came with are being taken care of etc before the season really starts. When we are plugged in to the dock, can we use any of our electrical appliances etc? We just use the "shore power" switch but not the inverter.....

One more: It seems like there is wifi. It shows up on our phones as the previous owners name. Is there wifi built in? We are trying to find out without success.

Thanks! Keri

I'd guess that the wifi is from the Garmin, if so, you can change the name to whatever you want.

The inverter is to run the 120v outlets from the batteries. If on shore power no need for the inverter.

Are you berthed on lake CDA or do you trailer? Our RT25 Classic will be berthed at Templin’s marina on the Spokane river. As soon as the water level in the river comes up a few more feet. We saw a couple of other RT’s on the lake last year, but we’re unable to make contact. We purchased our boat just last summer and are hooked. We would love to get together with other RT owners and swap experiences. If you are interested my email dalehelman@yahoo.com

We live south near Moscow so come up quite often to CDA and will be at the resort Marina on July 4. We were there this weekend but we are having issues with our rudder. Not moving. So went home. We will touch base!
