Hey folks,

I am currently a C-Dory 21 Classic owner and am looking at Ranger Tugs as an upgrade. The C-Dory 21 is just not big enough and doesn't have a few of the creature comforts that would make boating a little more comfortable in Bermuda.

I am looking at the Ranger Tug 25 as an option. It seems like a great little boat and next time I am on the east coast (I live in Bermuda) I am going to stop by a dealer.

Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
Peter

We had the C-Dory 22 and loved the boat, but one week was about the limit, hence we upgraded to an R-27. We were looking for a new boat and that is why we went with the 27. The Classic 25 has just about all the ammenities as the 27 and the cabin is about the same size the difference is in the cockpit. It is about the same size as the C-Dory cockpit so if you are used to that it is not an issue. The interior on the 25 has less teak. The 25 classic does not have all of the computerized ingnition etc. and that isn't all that bad. I have helped a friend work on his and it is fairly easy to access everything. Fuel economy is great. We love the R-27 and it has fit our niche nicely, big enough for two of us and small enough to trailer without permits. As always the Ranger company and the Tugnut community are the greatest around.
Good luck with your quest!
