Good day everyone,

I had an opportunity to attend the Ranger Tug Rendezvous in Bremerton last year and below, the result of that visit!!

I took delivery of CHUBASCO yesterday, and with the help of a couple of friends powered her down from LaConnor to Port Orchard.

She is a 2011 R-27 and the trip was great! I did not get a chance to spend any time with the previous owner, so you are likely to see many posts from me with questions.

I look forward to gaining wisdom and experience from you all!!

Gary Wade

Welcome Aboard. Give us your questions. There is always someone ready and willing to provide you with an answer. 😀

Congratulations!!!!

Welcome, Gary.
Where will you be mooring your boat? The SLO RANGER is on the "E" float in the Port Orchard Marina. She's a 2007 R-25, so we may not have too many answers for you, but I'll be glad to assist when/where I can. 360-649-2989.
This forum is a wealth of information, so begin here. The folks at Ranger Tug are also great to work with on the phone.
See you on the Inlet.
Joe

Congratulations Gary! I'm a Tugger wanna be who hopes to join the fleet someday myself. I've canvassed most of the used Rangers out there, and Chubasco looked like a terrific vessel. I think you snagged a great one! Double congratulations for joining the fleet and doing so in such style!!

Congrats Gary and welcome aboard

We did a walk through in La Conner of your boat, nice boat.

Congratulations Gary... must have been a cold day yesterday for you, and possibly foggy from LaConner to Port Orchard. The view of the Puget Sound from Edmonds marina looked pretty dismal.

Curious to know if Ranger Tugs offers any kind of warranty for your 2011 R-27 as more than likely you bought it independently from the previous owner ? Normally when you buy used from Ranger Tugs they provide some form of warranty.

Congrats. We seriously considered your new boat(great tug) but ended up with our R-29. Look forward to seeing you on the Sound.

Congratulations and welcome aboard...always. See you out there!
