New Volvo D3 software

I know it is not really new but it is new to us. We had the SW upgraded for our D3 200 this spring and the the difference in the smoke on start up is amazing! Almost none at all from a cold start!

Where did you have the update done? Do you know the version number of the update?
How did you know that your engine needed the update?

LaConner Maritime did the update. Great service. I don't know the SW version number. If you call them and give them your engine serial number they can tell you if you are up to date. I found out about this update from this Tugnuts site.
