So we purchased 2018 R31 in October. Have been looking forward to finally getting Sveikas! in the water. Never did anything like this!! I know I should worry about the engine and all that.. (its up to the Captain and he's been around boats and owned smaller boats!!) .. i'll figure that out at a later date.. but how do I outfit the galley: what do I need and how much.. just looking for little input.. I feel like I need to pots/dishes/glassware/ utensils/ bath towels (are there super small absorbent towels) :then watched Youtube today and I'm thinking I don't have a lot of storage. We are planning on a two week vaca on the Chesapeake the end of April.. any input would be helpful. Thanks so much!

Initially you will put everything you can think of on the boat and then you will slowly take many things off. Think minimal, but then that is a man's perspective. Utensils for four as with dishes and small bowls. We use 1 gallon and one quart zip lock backs for storage for items since they contract as you use what is in them. A pot, fry pan and a larger pan with 2 inch sides usually works for us . Some sharp knives, can opener, a couple of serving spoons. The list goes on. Each trip you take you will realize what you need and what you won't need. Each year we take an inventory and what we haven't used gets unloaded. There is a group of woman on Facebook, called the Ranger Tugetts. Join them and I am sure you will get plenty of advice. Enjoy, getting a new boat and outfitting it is always a fun time.
