Maybe I’m late to the party, but just now realized that RT boats have 12V circuit breakers but there’s not one to be found on my cutwater C30. Why is that? Seems strange…

My RT only has AC breakers. No DC.

No reset buttons above or to the side of rocker switches?

Sorry, yes I do have those for the helm switches but that's it.

It seems like it's unique to R31's (maybe 29's?) and larger, and no cutwater boats seem to have it.. would be handy for a lot of reasons.

yah mines a 29. Yours doesn't the helm switch push button resets?

In my c-288 there are a few circuit breakers in the quarter berth besides the ones on the helm, the rest are fuses.

My C30 does have resets on the helm buttons. It does not have the full blown DC breaker panel for things like water pump, lights, etc. It seems like that feature is unique to 31's and bigger, and perhaps a few on the CW 288...

One easy upgrade you can do is to replace all our some of your fuses with either resettable or standard circuit breakers. Blue Sea makes ATO style resettable breakers which are great for systems that never need to be turned off like bilge pumps, helm electronics, etc.

I replaced some of my fuses with ATO style standard circuit breakers by the manufacturer ETA (series 1610). These have a manual trip feature allowing loads to be shut off when not desired such as the refrigerators, TV antenna amplifier, tvs, etc.

Do those fit in the bluesea enclosures with the cover on? They look a bit taller

Yes, they do stand taller and require either the covers to be removed, or as I did which was to cut only the central label portion out with an oscillating saw that way the cover could still be snapped on to protect the screw terminals.
