How much ice? Looks like more then an inch

About an inch. Was melted around the hull but with 10 deg low tonight, will be frozen in again

Wow hope it goes soon .. Not a pretty picture..

While our recent snowfall is unusual (we got 30" about 50 miles north of D.C.), having several nights of very low temps is a pretty common occurrence during the winter in this area.

Does the water at your slip normally freeze during the winter? Do you usually use bubblers to keep the water moving?

I think it would make me very uncomfortable to see my boat in the water with ice around it. 😱

Our marina has a few bubblers that they are supposed to move around - but they rarely do. They did not during the storm. Today it was 50 deg so the ice is already melted again. Last year it froze a couple times hard and I planned on getting our own bubbler but I did not. At least this year I did not procrastinate and I got our R-31 shrink wrapped. It was warm and dry inside (relatively)
