Nova Kool amperage

My fridge on 2011 R25-SC draws around 4.8 amps when running. I looked into it because it send to be running a lot. Is that the expected draw?

Yep, that is about what ours draws as well. When set to around 3 or 4 with a full fridge it runs at about a 50% duty cycle so about 2.4 amps continuous.

From a Google search: Medium Models (R4500, R5810): Draws about 4.4 amps running.

If your boat is located in the area affected by the latest Midwest-Southeast heat dome, the frig will be running A LOT due to the boat having zero insulation and a poorly ventilated cavity in which the refrigerator resides.

Then you’re in luck. The refrigerator should cycle on and off. When the temperature is in the 90s, the refrigerator will run about constantly
