Oil Filter

I just pulled out my oil filter. It looks like a small hot tub filter. Do you replace these or clean them? It looks like I can just wash it in some gas and reuse it. If not, where do I buy one? Thanks

I DON'T mean to be a smart@ss and I mean no disrespect, but what does your Engine Manual tell you to do with the oil filter? If you don't have one, they are usually available on line.
