Be are about to become the owners of a R23. We live in the Olympia area. Would love to connect with any other Ranger Tug owners to learn from your experience.

Welcome!

Always interested in meeting new tugs in the area. Will you be in a marina or trailered? What kind of cruising will you be doing?

We are moored full time at Zittels. We prefer leisurely (read slow) day cruises but are working our way into longer multi day trips. We enjoy exploring the south sound islands and waterways, always something beautiful or interesting to see.

It’s a pleasure talking to tug owners we encounter along the way, hope to meet you soon.

A new adventure for my wife and I. Might trailer for a while but would love a covered slip at Zittels for a while. Would love to tag along, explore new areas and of course share some good wine. Working on the final details of the purchase. 2019 R23.

Welcome! We have an R27 Classic that we keep at Swantown Marina in Olympia. We tend to boat throughput the year as South Sound is a wonderful place to cruise. We’ve been boating here on Ranger Tugs since 2011 and love our water world here. We tend to take tons of photos of our cruising and keep them in our Boat Days photo blog along with cruise notes, http://www.boatdays.weebly.com. Happy cruising, hope to cross wakes with you!

Hey, Olytuggers, that is really cool, nice job! I want to cruise with you!

RT, we’d love to meet up sometime and share some wine and sea stories. Keep us updated on the purchase progress.

Wow I see some new friends on the horizon! When we get back later next week might try to set a meet and greet.

We always have cold beer and wine on hand. Just wrapping up an 8 month remodel on our home here in West Olympia. We are just south of Evergreen College.

I worked in Centralia at the Steam Plant for 25 years before our last 17 year excursion to Idaho.

My wifes family (92 year old mother and 4 year old granddaughter) brought us back when I retired in 2021

Nancy and I will be watching this thread. We plan on heading to Olympia as soon as nut harvest is finished.
Weather dependent. Week or two.

An (unofficial) Olympia Chapter of Tugnuts? 😀 Let’s make it happen!
