Ontario Canada Canal early permit savings

If your 2020 summer cruising plans are taking you to Ontario Canada’s Trent Severn and or Rideau Canals, a great cruising destination, there is good news if you like to save money. Until the end of March you can purchase a lock permit and save 20% and you can purchase a moorage permit and save 10%. I’ve attached the link that will take you directly to the Canal web sight. The break even point where you’d be better off financially buying the permits vs paying as you go is 10 days. Any amount of time spent in the Canal system over 10 days you’ll be saving money, so spend the summer and you’ll really save big time!
