operating temp for yanmar 4jh4 hte 110

My engine operating temp runs about 195 at 2500 rpm and 175 at about 2000rpm. Is this normal for the yanmar 4jh4 hte 110 hp engine on my R25? I recently changed the coolant and did the burping Etc. and now it seems to run a bit hotter than before. Might be my imagination.

Sounds like an airlock or low on antifreeze

That engine in that boat tends to run on the hot side. Check your sea strainer and make sure that you are not sucking in air from you head toilet. You can do a test by plugging up the supply line at the toilet and see if the temperature changes. Also check the oil cooler and make sure there is no weeds etc clogging the holes. Has this temperature issue been ongoing or is it something new? I also seem to remember that there was a service bulletin where the vanes on the heat exchanger were not aligned properly and this caused the engine to run hot.
