What is the process to operate the heater in a 2007 R21? I've looked over the manual and it only indicates that there is a heater but no mention of how to operate same. Is it best to start the engine first and let it reach operating temperature before throwing the so-called switch? Is there anything else that needs to happen? My [vague] understanding is that the heat comes from the engine so is there a valve that needs to be opened? If so, where is the valve? Thanks.

It is the same as the heater in your car/truck, when engine temperature heats the collant the fan will blow heat in the cabin. No valve to operate!
