I'm not local to the area but I have done quite a bit of boating in that area. My parents when retired purchased a home in Spanish Cove Lillian Al. My family still keeps the house after they passed away so it is a home away from home. We are planning on cruising down the Tenn Tom to Gulf Shores next September/October and spending some time cruising the area and Panhandle. My favorite place to anchor is just east of Redfish point on Big Lagoon, dingy in and swim at Johnsons beach. Maybe see you out there next fall!
