Saturday early evening my plotter (Garmin 7212) totally froze, just "Garmin" and the word "Holding" below it. I tried everything I could think of (restart, breakers, engine on or off, chip in or out etc.).

Called Kenny who answered cheerfully and talked me through a couple reset ideas to no avail. He told me he'd research it and get back to me. Within the hour, texted me back and told me that he had spoken to Andrew and they were just going to replace it. BTW, what little I could find on the internet indicated a possible "firmware" problem.

Monday, Kenny and Ivan came to my dock and replaced the unit - can't ask for much more than that.

Service like that is above and beyond. I also note that Andrew is often answering Tech questions on this forum late in the evening, when I'm sure with a new baby he has other priorities as well.

We need them to open up shops in all our locations so we can all enjoy the hands on service you west coasters enjoy 🙂
Hard to beat the service we all recieve , by phone or email , or in person . It will be a shock for anyone here that changes brands. Glad you're fixed..

Agreement on support. I recently had a stateroom Majestic TV go bad and sent it to the manufacture for repair...apparently unrepairable so a new one was shipped...I forgot to remove the bracket so the new set can to me of course without it...but Ralph from Ranger tugs made sure I had the replacement.
So a HUGE KUDOS to Tony Munro from Majestic and Ralph from Ranger Tugs...truly remarkable folks and remarkable service.
