I was out cruising today in my R23, and passed an R27 that had a cool Davit system that lifted the Dinghy up above the outboard. The owner mentioned it used a winch that mounts to the downrigger mounts, so you can easily single hand load/unload. Unfortunately, I didnt catch the manufacturer or where to buy. Anyone know who makes this or where to find?

There is also a company in Seattle called Olsson Manufacturing that makes/designs davit systems. I’ve seen aeveral if there products on RT and others. Might be worth investigating.
