Is there an owner manual similar to ones for other models?

We were told no. A lot of system manuals and a thorough orientation worked for us.

On my wish list for the future. In the mean time, I spend time crawling around with a flashlight, camera and note pad, exploring each corner and crevice of my new boat. No manual is unusual , but I figure the boat is pretty unusual so... why not?

Current goal, find access to the webasto fuel tank to clean up after a recently discovered diesel leak.

Wish I could say that an orientation and the accessory manuals really do it for me. I'm constantly running into things that hang me up. I can screw up even simple things like charging on shore power. People like me, who jumped from runabouts to a Ranger sure could benefit from a real manual. Even a real wiring diagram with schematic might help quite a bit. Not to mention little things like where various sensors are, and how to access various tanks, etc.

I firmly believe RT should make every effort to create Owner Manuals for the R-23 and new R-27. If they are going to be able to sell lots of these boats they would get MANY brownie points sent their way by the 100s of R-23 and new R-27 owners.... including me. 😱 😀

I am personally tasked with creating the 23 and 27 manuals. I should have both done by the Seattle Boat Show in January.

Well done Andrew.... A good reason for me to attend that Show and get an autographed copy for my new R-27/OB.

You might want to insert a list/section for the RT Technical Support team contacts.... and the Parts Dept contact. 🙂

Great news
Ranger Boats Rock!

As a relatively new R-23 owner am looking forward to the manual Andrew has said he is developing for early next year.
In the mean time enjoyed reviewing the new Cutwater manual recently posted.
Typical RT quality job - Thanks Andrew !
PS Andrew - If you do the 23 manual ahead of the 27 I won't let on to Baz.

No problem.... I'm creating my own Illustrated and in Full color R-27/OB Owner's Manual in PDF format which will be searchable just like Andrew has done for the Cutwater 30.

So which will happen first, Baz's manual for the 27OB, Andrew's manual for the 27OB, or the delivery of my 27OB???

Jim: I have to believe Andrew will do his best to have the R-27/OB Owner's Manual delivered along with your boat. Andrew is now on a roll and knowing him he will do his very best. His C30 manual is outstanding - in PDF and is fully searchable. 😀

Any update on the R23 manual?

I have made a lot of progress. Now time to clean up my drawings. I will post on the tugnuts when they are ready.

Well done Andrew.... looking forward the 2018 R-27/OB Owner's Manual. 😀

I hope it describes the access to the bow thruster compartment.
