OWNERS MANUAL MODIFICATIONS

Something kinda fun to do while sitting around the house. Open your owners manual in your favorite PDF editing program and customize as much as you want. I changed the pic on cover and added sub-manuals for various things (like diesel heater instructions & solar controller manual). Also, added dmv & insurance paperwork.

I had to go much further than that. My boat's in charter, so I had to customize all instructions to exactly my boat, expand in areas where the factory manual is deficient, leave out stuff that doesn't apply, reword much to make it understandable, and include stuff the charter company wants to see there. It was a pain, but valuable, as I find myself going to my homemade manual often.

Just so happens I'm in the process of that very thing. Current project is to update the schematic diagram with new battery charger and inverter installation as separate pieces. Fun project to spend a few hours on while away from people....
