Plastic Shavings Clogging Fresh Water Pump Strainer

Hello Ranger Tug Factory, I have the exact same fresh water pump issue on my new 2018 Ranger Tug R-23 that many people are also having. It started with low water pressure at all faucets. I was told to clean the strainer on the fresh water pump. So I cleaned the plastic shavings out of the strainer attached to the water pump. When I re-assembled it, it still didn't work properly, so I took the inlet hose off the pump and blew air into the hose toward the tank. When I re-assembled it the second time. the pump works OK now. So it was some plastic shavings still left in the hose coming from the tank. But now these shavings are back in the Tank!

Since some of the plastic shavings are still in the tank, is this going to be a continuing problem? How can all these plastic shavings be removed from the tank? Can they be sucked out through the filler tube that goes from outside the boat into the tank, maybe using a hand pump?

Any ideas from the Ranger Tug Factory Technical people would be greatly appreciated.

Speaking of Deja Vue, re my 2009 R 25 Classic:
Regarding the water pump, after disassembly I discovered that the pump head check valves (Johnson 4.0) were fouled with small bits of almost clear curly plastic, which I assume is debris from the freshwater tank. Since I could not find anything else wrong with the pump, (and could not find a source for the pump head or a rebuild kit) I disassembled it, cleaned it out and reinstalled it. Cleaning involved picking about 15 small pieces of plastic out of the pump check diaphragms with tweezers. The pump had obviously been changed before I got this boat, because it looked like new, except for not-too-great wire splices on the power hookup. I did add a strainer upstream of the pump assuming there could be more debris. (I was surprised there was not a strainer :? ) I also replaced the ½” check-valve between the shore-water line and the pump because it leaked in both directions, and used new marine wire connectors. I do not normally stay connected to shore-water, but wanted to be safe.
Two weeks later, the cold water feed to the galley blew apart behind the cupboards (clamp was only about 1/3 of the way on over the barbs). Teach me to fix the pump and increase the pressure! Only one little piece made it to the aerators. All the shavings were in the pump. Took some blue words to get the hose back on with one hand in that very small cupboard.
I am mentally designing a small hose hooked to my shop vac and shoved into the fresh water fill if this plugs up again. Might work.

well lets say its hard to get good help now days Just saying My R27 couple of glitches the factory was there to help. Boy I am so glad I am retired no work B S just look at post LOL
