pm's stuck in outbox

Typically, with this forum software, PM's that are in your OUTBOX are because the person you sent them to has not read them yet. Once they have read them... they will be gone.
 
Jim has it right. PMs have to be "pulled" by the addressee from their inbox. They are not "pushed" like email.
