PNW Cruise coming to a close

After spending 2 months cruising the PNW in Washington and British Columbia, logging 140 hours on our Kismet, spending 29 days at marina's and 34 on the hook we're taking away a maritime experience that will not be soon forgotten. From the natural wonders of Desolation Sound and Princess Louisa Inlet, Gulf and San Juan Islands, we loved it all. Of all the places we've boated, when people ask us "where's your favorite", I'd honestly have to say it has been in Washington and British Columbia.

Thanks for making Lisa and I feel welcome and at home in your boating paradise. We will be back,

John and I hope we'll see you again soon in Florida! So glad you got to experience the wonders of our backyard cruising. Sometimes I think those of us who grew up here forget what an amazing place we boat in all the time. Thanks for reminding us to appreciate what is right here.

Kismet looked fine cruising NW out of Elliott Bay this morning. We raised a coffee toast as you went by. It was great sharing a few docks, anchorages, and a bit of downtown Seattle. Enjoy Hanalei!

Thanks for all your comments. We spent our last day on the water today cruising 70 miles or so up to Anacortes, from Seattle, with an absolutely perfect cruising day as the crowning exclamation point to our wonderful PNW adventure. I'm glad Lisa takes lots of photo's so when we get old and the mind starts to wonder we have them to help pull us back to all the great times we have had cruising. Hope to see some of you in Florida this winter at the Ranger Tug Rendezvous in February.
