After a long thought out decision to sell our C26 Cutwater. We listed it and closed the sale two weeks ago. PORT-A-GEE is now cruising the waters on the St James River in Virginia. If you are boating in this area and see PORT-A-GEE give a wave to the new members of TugNuts.

Our 5 years of cruising, maintaining, making changes and fixing issues but most of all meeting new friends. It has been great. We have met many Tugnuts on our adventures with PORT-A-GEE many of them have become good friends that we would have never met if we didn't own a Cutwater.

The future will have cruising in our plans. The quest for a larger boat (6ft-itis ) is in full swing. It is a tough market to find and purchase a boat. New boats are a year to two years out (quality compromised) and used boats are selling as fast as they are listed. (some in poor condition bringing premium price) I'm still confident that our next boat is out there.

With any luck we will be back on the water soon and continuing our Loop adventure (10 year plan ). We hope to see and meet many more TugNuts has the adventure continues.

I guess I have to change my signature. Boat ? name PORT2GEE!!!

Congrats of the sale of your boat. I knew it wouldn't take long to sell. Good luck on your quest for the next one and if you are ever cruising in our areas give us a shout.

Congratulations On the sale Brian and good luck on your hunt for the next adventure boat. In addition I’d like to thank you for all your professional mechanical, maintenance and overall helpfulness you’ve contributed to this Tugnuts forum.

Brian,
Say it ain't so...from drop fins (I installed) to modifications to performance tips, I've found you the most useful contributor bar none! Please let us know if you continue to publish a blog, I'd follow that. We are all in the search of the perfect boat and the journey is often the most rewarding part.

Congrats on the sale of your boat, hopefully. You will still hang around the tug nuts site. Just wondering if you ever put together some type of spread sheet on annual maintenance. It’s hard to get clear info anywhere. For example transmission service trans filter service etc. good luck on your new boat search

Congrats on the sale and good luck on finding your new boat. Thank you for all the great posts you made on this site. I have become a much more knowledgeable owner reading them all. Happy cruising!!
Best, Palle.

Congrats on the sale. Someone got a Great boat.
If you want to get on the water, My 29 is in South Haven & you can use it anytime.

Thank you all for the comments. Mike, we hope to cruise up into New England waters in the future but I'm sure we will see you in our travels in SWF. Paul My wife's blog of our travels will continue. As long as the folks at Fluid Motion don't mind the opinions and thoughts of a former Cutwater owner posting to the forum I will continue to do so. I enjoy doing it, and it has introduced me to many Tug and Cut owners. I am amazed at all the folks I have met that read TugNuts. When we pull into a harbor, marina, or just out on the water. Radio calls, dock meetings, docktails, They see the name on the boat and ask are you Brian ?

Funny story ! Loral and I are cruising out of Killarney Ontario heading to Georgian Bay. A C28 Cutwater calls on the radio. Hey Cutwater who says a Cutwater can't do the Loop? ( we were both flying AGLCA Burgees ) I responded go to channel 68, We chatted for a while and then passed each other waving. I then said have a great day PORT-A-GEE back to 16. The response on the radio " are you Brian? " I responded "yes" ! We continued to chat for awhile. Warning: I like to talk!!!

learning from others is what this Forum is all about. I believe if a Tug or Cut owner reads this forum, researches threads and uses the resources " factory Bulletins" provided by the factory. They will be more knowledgeable about the Tug or Cut they own are intending to own. It is a great resource. Cudo's to Bruce Moore, he does fine job maintaining this Forum.
