I am having issues with my port wiper on my 2015 C30 S. The wpier will not function and I contacted IMTRA the manufacturer and they agreed to replace the motor at no charge. I also in a bundacebof caution trued a new wiper switch at the helm and it still did not function. The problem is I can’t figure out how to remove the arms from the motor. There does not appear to be a set screw at the arm motor interface. If any one can guide me through the process it would greatly appreciated.

You need a wiper arm removal tool. Any local automotive store will have one

Does anyone know if the arms have a lock not or set screw that need to be loosened or removed prior to use if the wiper removal tool.

Thanks

My wiper arms may be different than yours but there is a set screw that needs to be loosened before removal.

Where is the set screw on yours?

On the round part of the arm that fits over the motor shaft. Depending on the orientation they could be on top where you can’t see them.

Thanks. I will check.

Depending on the arm you have, if you find the set screw on the top, remove it entirely and you may want to spray a bit of PB blaster in the hole and some on the front hole. Hold a paper towel underneath so you do not get it all over the deck. Try to wiggle it a bit with channel locks and then let it sit overnight. The next day you may be able to wiggle it off, but if not you will need a battery terminal remover. Similar to this. https://www.amazon.com/OTC-4611-Battery-Terminal-Puller/dp/B000ZIZ32W. You will need to either grind down the end to fit in the hole on the front or use a short cut 10D common head nail under the anvil end and then tighten. I have found (as suggested by Gansett Ranger) leaving the plastic covers off of the end helps eliminate salt build up and corrosion. When reassembling applying some anti-seize will help with future removal.
