I purchased a Powerstation PSX3 from Costco. Thankfully, I haven't needed the air compressor yet... but everything else has worked great on this little guy.

Have you ever used this to start a diesel boat engine that had a dead starting battery?
I like the fact that the PSX3 has about the same foot print as a group 27 but is about 1/3 the weight at 20 lbs.
I am thinking that if carried on board and used for emergency use only that it could start the engine, if for some reason the boat battery is dead.

If the engine battery goes dead why not just throw the parallel switch to start. A lot cheaper and easier.
