6/27/14 tonight we are in Brewerton NY. We left home in Fort Lauderdale on March 20 and we have had lots of "adventure" and fun on our approximate 1/3 of the Great Loop. Crossing Lake Oneida today was like floating on glass
We have an issue with our boat batteries and hope to have that resolved before we enter Canada since Tow Boat US might not be helpful. Other than that we have loved every minute of our trip. We have transited 22 locks in the Erie Canal with no problem. I baked cookies on board for the Lock masters so that made them happy. We do not hang much with other loopers just because it has not worked that way. We have hung with lots of locals even attending Historical Society meetings in little towns like Little Falls, NY. Do not miss this town. The people are wonderful.
