We are having electrical problems. We have already had to replace our inverter and the bow thruster unit and the thruster unit battery. We were told that the bow thruster disintegrated due to galvanic erosion. We thought problems were solved but now we are having electrical problems throughout the boat. When connected to shore power, only the A/C and microwave are working. We have no power to lights, navigation system, refrigerator, or any accessories. All breakers are set in the correct position, batteries are charging and the inverter light indicates it's on. I believe we have checked everything and are at a loss as to what's going on. Before I call the mechanic AGAIN, I was hoping I could get some help here. Thanks so much

What inverter model do you have? Is there an outlet directly on the inverter you can test ?

Do you have access to a DC and ac multimeter?

What have you done thus far for troubleshooting (voltage tests, ground tests)?

Hello Graciem,

It sounds to me like your house circuit breaker is tripped. This breaker is located in the port cockpit locker on the outboard side of the compartment. If tripped, you'll need to reset the breaker by pushing the arm back towards the reset button.

Shoot me a call in the office with any questions (253)839-5213.
