Put in a replacement pump for autopilot Gh10 series. Got a message searching for controller. Looks like I have no power going to the ECU from the boat. There is a 40 amp fuse in the wiring just in front of the pump which tests ok. I am wondering if there is another fuse further up the line that might be the problem. The line in tests no voltage. Thanks

I know of two power supplies the motor fuse that you indicated is ok and the N2K power that powers the head unit at the dash. It sounds as if you are getting a message at the head unit there is power there. If the head unit is not powering up make sure the N2K has power. 2 ways it will get power the right way is yellow power cord wired to the fuse panel behind the helm. Some Rangers and Cutwaters have the N2K powered through the fusion radio. NRX needs to be turned on. Turn your Fusion radio on go to settings scroll down and turn NRX on if this is the power source.

Another issue could be the auto pilot needs to be shut down all battery power removed and then turned back on (reset) Also see what version Garmin update you are using. A update may correct your issue if all power sources are present.

Finally if all else fails a call to Garmin technical assistance may help resolve the issue.

I had a similar problem in my Garmin on my r29 and found a joint in the power wire that was corroded. The joint was right where the water would drip off the lid when you open the stern hatch. I cut the wire and rejoined it and the pilot works again.
