Six years ago I built an excel spreadsheet to figure out how much power we actually consume on Channel Surfing. I've been refining it ever since and sharing it with anyone who asks.
It covers the R27 NW Edition with AGM, the LE Edition with factory LFP, and the NW Edition with LFP retrofit. Also covers the R29 and R31. I added tabs for the 2026 R29/31 which now come with 1200amp-hours of LFP. I include real Pacific Northwest solar production data by season as experienced on my boat.
Enter your daily usage (how long you'll watch TV, listen to the radio, keep the cabin lights on, etc...) and it tells you exactly what state of charge your battery bank will be at the end of the day. I used it for sizing solar and what size house battery I needed when I converted to LiFePo4 (LFP). It helped me figure out how much I needed of each.
One thing I've learned after all of this: if you think you need a bigger battery bank, upgrade your solar first.
