Just thought I'd run a thread to share some sights of Prince William Sound.

Trip 1, May 15-21

The weather forecast wasn't all that great but things looked promising as we passed Eaglek Bay.

Siwash Bay anchorage wasn't quite as bright.

We saw our first ever mink.

And of course plenty of sea otters.

Departing Unakwik Bay we hoped to leave the rain astern.

More clouds but less rain in Cedar Bay

And mountain mists everywhere.

Laying on the hook through a gale in Goose Bay

And the AP bringing us back up Passage Canal for home.

Pretty. Thanks. Cannot wait.

Some really nice pics, Dan... we're looking forward to some AK time on the water!

Is it possible to "map" the photos as to location where the shutter clicked? When surveying PWS it's such a vast area....

Great pleasure lies ahead !

I'm sure it's possible but I don't know how to do it. I know you can attach photos to Google Earth but I've never explored how to do so. Glad to do it if you have suggestions as to how...

Woweee..... awesome phots.... thanks. What was the outside temperature....just wondering as it does look a bit on the chilly side in the photos. 😱

Glad you enjoyed the photos, Baz. Temps were low 40s at night and high 40s-low 50s during the day. Spring is way late this year. Even last week we were still able to fill the cooler with snow off a beach. Water temps are still numbing even just sticking a hand in a bucket. This week has been a lot better. We head out again Tuesday for another week. We'll see.
