Problem Setting Anchor.

have you marked your rode? nothing worse than dumping too much chain at once.

I have mine painted red, black and blue every 20 feet.

ease it out as you back off...

what are the sea floor conditions? I use the Rocna for grassy bottoms (lake michigan near shore) but the standard Ranger Tug claw anchor was fine when we had our boat in the Pacific Northwest....
