I’m curious how sensitive a propane sensor is. Specifically, how sensitive is it in relation to being able to detect propane? I anticipate it’s far more sensitive to the gas than my nose, but to what degree? Assuming the leak is not substantial, when the sensor triggers an alarm would I also be able to pick up some degree of the scent in the cabin? What is it that the sensor is actually tuned to pick up and is it specifically targeting only elements in propane gas?

My surveyor used a BarBQ lighter and opened the cabinet under the stove, lite the lighter, blew out the flame holding the valve open and stuck it new the sensor. Sensor went off from the unburned gas out of the lighter. Don't know where that falls on your Sensitivity Scale, but I was satified that it worked.
