Just getting my R27OB ready for a launch in a few weeks and I noticed when I turn on my House Power I hear a pump. Is it because my water tank is drained?

There is a fresh water pump that will run until it makes shut off pressure, no water no pressure. Fortunately it’s has a switch. The other pump is a wash down pump that uses the water you float in, it too has a switch. The pumps that run without the house power switch are the bilge pumps, and sometimes the float will get stuck causing the pump to run and run and run until it self destructs. Always carry a spare bilge pump or two. Cheers.

Thanks , makes sense , need to make sure it is shut off.

It happened to me one or two times, after switching the fresh water pump on I heard the pump working, not a full speed, but I could see it was working. I opened the kitchen faucet for 1 second and the pump stopped.

Thanks , I did get it sorted out. I am pretty sure it will stop when I fill my tank in the spring. For now I just shut it off. Thanks
