I purchased a used trailer, then I purchased a tongue weight scale and had the boat suspended about the trailer with a travel lift.. We moved it until I had the correct tongue weight then adjusted the bunks.
Calling EZ Loader is best as they may have an easier fix.
I can tell you from experience having the correct tongue weight makes a huge difference.. I have been having the boat set on the trailer with a lift to get it positioned correctly. Trying to load on a ramp was not getting it far enough forward and making a difference in our ride. If you are only going a short distance all of this will not make a big difference.
