Putting a r29 on a r31 trailer?

Bought a ezloader trailer made for the 31. Plan to put on a 29classic.Has anyone done this ? What mods need to be done? Thanks in advance

I am not exactly sure if there are any modifications that have to be done in order for this to work properly. I know that the bunks should be fine but the bow catch would need to be adjusted so that the boat doesn't go to far forward. With the extra 2 ft being all added to the stern on the 31 and the engine positioned more to the rear, I think moving the bow catch may mess up the positioning on the bunks will also effect tongue weight. I purchased a used trailer, then I purchased a tongue weight scale and had the boat suspended about the trailer with a travel lift.. We moved it until I had the correct tongue weight then adjusted the bunks.
Calling EZ Loader is best as they may have an easier fix.
I can tell you from experience having the correct tongue weight makes a huge difference.. I have been having the boat set on the trailer with a lift to get it positioned correctly. Trying to load on a ramp was not getting it far enough forward and making a difference in our ride. If you are only going a short distance all of this will not make a big difference.
