We have a strange anomaly with the inverter on our 2022 Ranger Tug R27. The inverter powers up normally and power flows to the panel just fine. The problem is that power is only delivered for 3 to 4 seconds before it shuts off if the load is substantial such as running the microwave. For small loads like charging a cell phone it works perfectly. To verify the microwave isn’t the problem I tried plugging in a small electric heater and it also only operated for a few seconds before it shut down. Both microwave and heater worked fine on shore power.

Since it works fine with low loads it can’t be a fuse or GFCI. Any ideas?

I am assuming you have a NW edition with agm batteries.

Agm batteries are insufficient to run large loads for any length of time. As the batteries age it gets worse and what they used to be able to power becomes less.

The inverter will shutdown when the voltage drops below 11.5volts.

Your batteries (house) are probably weak.
