So, a couple of weeks ago I posted about a large amount of engine oil in bilge, maybe a pint or so? After running the engine for at least an hour no oil build up. This was after extensive bilge cleaning. Now, putting the boat back together. In the most forward paRt of the boat, where the forward thruster lives, I noticed evidence of oil on the inside of the transom. Seems unlikely this was left by original build although there was a small handful of screws and nuts I fished out. My question- if I poured some degreaser into this most forward cavity would it flow through to the engine area and and bronze plug at most aft of the boat? Seems reasonable as the dirty oil found its way up there to stain the bottom at its most forward point. Of course the bow of the boat is elevated to make use of gravity flow.
Thanks,
