A very simple "fix" to secure the three railings around the cockpit on the R-21. The inverted U-shaped rails which are seated into stainless tubing on the gunwales can be yanked out when grabbed in rough conditions. ( I am saying this from experience, as recently I ended up with one end of a side rail in my hand as the other remained precariously in its socket.) Anyway, I simply drilled and tapped for one small screw in each leg of the rail sockets, (six screws in all), and secured the rails in that way. Just a safety thought for those of us who romp around in rough water with our little tugs.
